You are important to us!
In the light of the most recent statements by the Government's Medical Advisors regarding the likely spread of Coronavirus and the groups likely to be most vulnerable, the committee has decided to cancel meetings of the Far Cotton History Group at least until September, at which time the situation will be reviewed. We appreciate that this will be a disappointment for many of you, but we feel that this is a small step that could help to keep you safe and we hope that you will understand. 7 April 2020.
Welcome to the Far Cotton History Group website.
Our group collects information that relates to the history of Far Cotton since 1800. We plan to use this website to share what we have found and we are enormously grateful to everyone who has generously shared their memories, photographs and memorabilia. They make our project possible and help to show just how much times have changed and what an interesting area Far Cotton is!
We hope you enjoy this trip through time.
