You are important to us!

Dear Members,
Just to inform everyone officially about the situation we find ourselves in due to this awful Pandemic. At the moment we are unable to meet due to our numbers and physically distancing ourselves.  Please be assured we will resume as soon as we are legally able to do so safely.
Not everyone has access to the internet so we have divided our members between the committee and will be phoning our allotted members with an update and to make contact. We will inform you as soon as any changes happen but in the meantime please take care of yourselves.
Your Chairperson, Glenda
And all the committee: Martin, Ray, Pam, Di, Phil, Tony and Ruth
October 2020

Welcome to the Far Cotton History Group website.

Our group collects information that relates to the history of Far Cotton since 1800. We plan to use this website to share what we have found and we are enormously grateful to everyone who has generously shared their memories, photographs and memorabilia. They make our project possible and help to show just how much times have changed and what an interesting area Far Cotton is!

We hope you enjoy this trip through time.

Explore the history of Far Cotton

Today's Far Cotton is a district of Northampton in the parish of St Mary's, but not that long ago it was two separate villages outside the borough boundary.
